How to play live casino: blackjack, roulette and baccarat

A live dealer casino streams a table to your screen while you place bets through an interface. Crypto may fund the account, but table rules determine the outcome. Compare the game variant, limits and settlement rules before joining.

Choose a live table, read its rules and limits, then place your bet before the timer closes. Blackjack requires decisions during the hand; roulette and standard baccarat bets are normally placed before the outcome. A live stream is not a guarantee of favourable odds.

How a live dealer round works

The interface accepts the bet; the video shows the table. The accepted ticket is what matters.

  • Check the game name, currency, minimum stake and rules before buying chips. Some tables are seated, while others allow many players to bet on the same round.
  • Place the bet within the displayed countdown and confirm it was accepted. The dealer calling no more bets closes the window.
  • Follow any decision timer. Read what the game does if you miss a blackjack decision; do not assume every table automatically stands.
  • If the connection drops, consult the round history and the provider’s interruption policy. Disconnection does not automatically cancel an accepted wager.

Live blackjack: hit, stand, double and split

Blackjack aims to beat the dealer’s hand without exceeding 21, not to reach 21 on every hand.

  • Hit takes another card; stand keeps your total. Aces can count as 1 or 11; a hand with an ace counted as 11 is soft.
  • Doubling increases the stake under the table’s rules and normally gives one further card. Splitting separates an eligible pair into two hands with another stake.
  • A natural blackjack is normally an ace plus a ten-value card as the initial two cards. Check whether the table pays 3:2 or 6:5; these are not equivalent returns.
  • Dealer soft-17 rules, number of decks, surrender and doubling after splitting all matter. A basic-strategy chart must match the actual rules and cannot guarantee a winning session.
  • Side bets have separate paytables. Do not judge them by the main blackjack game’s house edge or assume a large advertised payout is likely.

Live roulette: single zero, double zero and bet types

Read the wheel layout and payout table before choosing an inside or outside bet.

  • A standard single-zero wheel has 37 pockets: 0 and 1–36. A standard double-zero wheel adds 00 for 38 pockets. Other variants exist.
  • Straight-up bets cover one number; splits, streets, corners and lines cover groups. Outside bets include red/black, odd/even, high/low, dozens and columns.
  • On a standard single-zero wheel, red covers 18 of 37 pockets—not half. A zero normally loses on red/black unless a specific rule such as la partage changes settlement.
  • A standard straight-up win pays 35:1 profit plus the returned stake. Multiplier or bonus roulette can change payouts and mechanics; do not apply standard-wheel figures to every variant.
  • Increasing bets after losses does not remove the house edge. Table maximums and a finite balance can make a progression fail before a recovery bet.

Live baccarat: player, banker and tie

Player and banker are bet names. You are not controlling the draw of cards.

  • Cards 2–9 have face value, tens and picture cards count as zero, and aces count as one. The hand total uses the final digit: 7 plus 8 totals 5.
  • The drawing rules determine whether a third card is dealt. The hand closest to nine wins; a tie has its own settlement rules.
  • A common commission version pays a winning banker bet at 0.95:1 after 5% commission; player commonly pays 1:1. No-commission variants use different conditions.
  • Check how a tie settles player/banker stakes and the exact tie payout. Side bets and tie bets have distinct odds; a scoreboard of past results does not predict the next hand.

Live game shows, poker variants and bet behind

Live casino is a category, not one shared set of odds.

  • Wheel-based game shows can add RNG-driven multipliers or bonus rounds. Real dealers do not mean every element is a physical wheel or card outcome.
  • Casino poker variants are commonly played against the house under their own qualifying and payout rules, unlike peer-to-peer poker rooms.
  • Bet-behind wagers follow another seat’s hand; read how doubles, splits and other decisions affect your own stake. You may not control those decisions.
  • For every variant, read the main bet, side bet and bonus-round rules separately. Provider names and table titles can be similar while settlement differs.

Before funding a crypto live casino table

The table’s availability and payment method are separate checks.

  • Confirm the live provider and table are available in your country and that your account is permitted to play. A review is not proof of local eligibility.
  • Check coin and network support, any conversion to a fiat table balance, deposit minimums and withdrawal requirements before sending funds.
  • Read whether bonuses exclude live games or count their wagers differently. Set a limit for total round stakes, including side bets, and avoid chasing a losing shoe.
